These exam regulations describe how the examination of qualifying courses at Winc Academy is organized. The rules apply to all participants who participate in Winc Academy courses that conclude with a qualifying test or final assignment and that lead to a certificate.
The examination is based on pre-determined learning outcomes per course. These learning outcomes are set out in the course description and form the basis for the assessment criteria for the qualifying test.
Winc Academy courses are qualified with a practical test, such as a final project, case or assignment. The form of examination is in line with professional practice and is further detailed for each course in programme-specific documentation.
Upon submission, the participant declares that the final project was carried out independently.
The use of AI tools is permitted provided that:
In case of doubt about independence or understanding, an oral defense may be made mandatory by the Board of Examiners.
If the qualifying test is assessed as insufficient, the participant is entitled to one retake. The second chance takes place on the basis of feedback received from the assessor (s) and within the specified access period of the course. If the second chance requires additional time outside the original access period, extension of access to the learning environment and guidance may be necessary. There may be additional costs associated with this extension. The current renewal fee is €25 per month.
If the assessment is satisfactory, the participant will receive a certificate from Winc Academy of the completed course. Certificates have no expiration date unless explicitly stated otherwise.
Winc Academy has set up an independent examination board that monitors the quality, independence and care of the examination, monitors the application of assessment criteria and handles objections and appeals.
If a student does not agree with the assessment of a qualifying test, an objection can be filed with the Board of Examiners. Students can contact the Board of Examiners via examencommissie@wincacademy.nl.
