As a Functional Administrator, you ensure that systems, processes, and users are well aligned. In this practical retraining program, you will learn how organizations work with applications, data, changes, and user requests, and how you can make a difference. You will work with realistic case studies centered around AuroraCare, a mid-sized healthcare organization facing real management challenges. You will learn to analyze incidents, improve processes, conduct impact analyses, work with Jira, guide acceptance testing, and communicate effectively with stakeholders. In doing so, you will develop both fundamental technical knowledge and strong analytical and communication skills. The program combines theory with practical assignments and prepares you for an entry-level position as a junior functional administrator. Additionally, you will receive an exam voucher for the official BiSL Foundation exam from Van Haren Groep.
For example, do you work in administration, healthcare, planning, operations, or information management? Then you will learn how systems, processes, users, and data are interconnected, so you can better liaise between the operational floor and IT.
You gradually build foundational knowledge of IT systems, data, applications, management processes, and user support. You then apply this knowledge in practical case studies involving incidents, changes, acceptance testing, and process improvement.
Do you already work with user queries, applications, or tickets? This course will help you transition to functional management, with a greater focus on processes, user needs, impact analysis, and collaboration with the business.
In addition to the Business Data Analytics course, we also offer the Data Analytics with Python training on. Both courses prepare you for a career in data analysis, but the focus is different. Business Data Analytics focuses on analyzing and visualizing data in a business context, working with tools such as Power BI, Looker Studio and GA4. The Data Analytics with Python course goes a step more technical and focuses on processing and analyzing large data sets with programming languages. You'll learn how to work with SQL and Python, including libraries such as Pandas, NumPy, and Matplotlib, that allow you to perform deeper analyses and even build predictive models.
Bottom line: Business Data Analytics is perfect if you want to work directly with data within companies, without programming. Data Analytics with Python is ideal if you want to explore the technical side of data analysis and dive deeper into code. Which direction suits you best?

I followed the “UX Design with Figma” course at Winc Academy. It's a very well structured course, with lots of theoretical and practical knowledge, (with additional resources to dig deeper) that can be followed in your own pace, whenever you have time or feel like doing it. All Winc Academy students are connected via the community app where you can meet people following the same course, help each other, develop together. I am using Figma now on a daily basis, both for work and for my personal use. I can only recommend it!
Winc has a nice, well-organized portal. The curriculum is also clear, with example cases, which makes the theory a bit more light-hearted. The digital system works very well, so I didn't need contact with a “physical Winc employee”. Strangely enough, I do miss that a bit afterwards. Hence not 5 but 4 stars.
Good course material, plenty of live lessons, helpful teachers and fellow students. Slack is great for connecting with each other. Constructive criticism is always taken seriously. 1 point for improvement. The time indicated in which you can study is the same for a Newby in tech or a student who is already familiar with programming languages. Six months of Full Stack development for a Newby is too short. There may be a difference in that. This is especially important for students who follow the course through the UWV, because then time is also important.
Great to learn how to program at your own pace and from home. With lots of great teaching materials and assignments.

Many parts have been covered through this course. Working with Python was challenging but the assignments were fast. Much of the logic of what Back-End does has certainly become clearer and even more fascinating.

For a Front End Developer, this course expands your JavaScript skills. You need understanding of coding before entering this course. When you are making the exercises it gives you power to learn more.

For people who don't have time to take a lesson, this is ideal. All courses are in English, so basic English is a must. Unfortunately, it was not indicated anywhere when registering. But everything turns out to be its own! Mentors also always answer your questions. Good luck!

I recently studied Back-End Development at Winc and it was a challenging but fun experience. The exercises and assignments were creative and engaging and provided a great learning opportunity. The mentors were nice and helpful throughout the process. Would recommend it!
For me I learned a lot. There are things I didn't know about or didn't understand enough yet. Now I feel like a follow up course Ethical hacker is something that I wanne do or take more follow-up steps.
