As a point of contact for students, I get a lot of questions every day. One of the most frequently asked questions is: Does programming suit me?

You understand that I can't always answer this question for you over the phone or by email. What I can do is inform you extensively and enthuse you about programming. In addition, I can tell you that if you already have this question in your head, you are at least thinking about it and working on it, which is a good sign. After all, the first step in the right direction has already been taken!

Career switch

I realize that, of course, it always remains exciting; a new step, a new challenge, a new field of work and sometimes even a career change. Again, if you don't try, you'll never know. Maybe you'll find something in programming that makes you very happy, that turns out to be your passion, and doors open for you that you didn't even know existed but behind which lies a whole new world at your feet.

If you are unsure, I always recommend taking the course first Web Development to follow. During this course, you get a glimpse into the world of programming. We introduce a number of components step by step and by the end of the course you can already build your own website, how fun is that!

HTML and CSS

During the Web Development course, you will learn the basics of HTML and CSS. You'll learn how to make your website user-friendly, we'll help you put it online and give you various tips on how to add extras such as a contact/comment form.

Of course, we hope that your programming blood will flow faster after this course, but you may also discover that it was interesting but that programming is not for you (now) yet. Perhaps the time is not right yet or our way of teaching does not suit you, but in any case, this experience will answer the question: Does programming suit me?

The benefits of the Web Development course at a glance:

  1. You are not immediately stuck with a long and expensive course.
  2. You can follow the course from behind your own laptop and from anywhere. So you don't have to travel.
  3. The teachers are in Dutch (the teaching modules are in English).
  4. You get the answer to your burning question: Does programming suit me?

All in all, the course Web Development good fun to try out anyway. You can start right away!
