During the course, our students are prepared to work as junior Front-end Developers. Although the students have certainly not finished learning after this, they do have the necessary software skills to build a website or application. Unfortunately, many people still look at this with skepticism. Logical, of course, because exactly how much do you know after such a course? We would like to show you that, using the final project of our alumnus Leon Rijsdam as an example.
As a final assignment, we ask our students to do a 'real life' project. The purpose of this is to make things easier for Winc Academy teachers. One overview should show how the assignments are evaluated by the students.
The students complete a number of assignments per week. What we would like to see are the evaluations, per assignment, of each student in a “Bar Chart”.
As you can read, it is not an easy task. We are therefore proud of our students, who have all created something beautiful!
To give you an even better idea of the final assignment, we would like to show you how Leon Rijsdam, former Winc Academy student, carried out the assignment. And who better to tell us that than Leon himself? On his LinkedIn, he talks about the process and the choices he made. Read his experience and a further explanation of the elaboration here. Do you want to see immediately what his dashboard looks like and what functionalities it includes? Then take a look here. We hope that this example has given you a better idea of what Winc Academy students can do at the end of their education.
Do you also see yourself working on these kinds of projects? Then sign up for the Front-end training and take on the challenge!
